There is a lowpass filter included which is supposed to do what you suggested. The cutoff manipulation isn't quite right though.

I like the idea to use measured data and wavetables for the sound generation, and using several of them seems like a nice way to produce subtle beating.
Perhaps what's missing for it to really sound like a piano is the gradual decay of upper partials, so that the start of the note has a rich timbre, and it dampens progressively (just like in Karplus-Strong). Don't know how to that with wavetables though :) (edited)
